Configuring Transport Management System
System #1 : IDS [Machine Name :Sapides] – Development IDES46B
Sysetm #2 : MRL [Machine name :Domcon] – Production IDES46B
Step – I
Logon to SAP [ System – MRL ] in 000 Client.
Client No : 000
User name : ******
Password : ******
Step – II
Start Transport Management System
Transaction Code to Start Transport Managment System : STMS on MRL [ Domcon ]
If there is no Transport Domain you need to configure:
System : SID
Description : Short Description
Name : Transport Domain name.
Description : Short Description
Click Save Button after you fill up the information.
MRL is set as Domain Controller Once it is done the following message appear : You are logged on to the domain controller. The transport route configuration is inconsistent.
Step III Activate, Update and Distribute new configuration.
Click System Overview Button to see the details of the Domain Controller and the systems in the Domain.
If the status is not Active then activate it by clicking the follwing button.
Then Click on Update Configuration Button.
Then Click Distribute Button

Logon to SAP [ System – MRL ] in 000 Client.
Client No : 000
User name : ******
Password : ******
Step – V
Start Transport Management System
Transaction Code to Start Transport Managment System : STMS on IDS [ Sapides ]
Include the system into Transport Domain.
It Displays previous information that it has been configured with.
To change Domain Controller and other information
If you wish to change the details of the above information Click Other Configuration Button.
Step VI
Select Include System in Domain.
Click Save Button
Then following message appears saysing theis system is waint to be includend in the Transport
Domain.
Switch to MRL server
Click on System Overview Button.
The Following Screen appears :
On MRL System
To get information on Status field click Legend Button.
Observe the status of IDS system it is not yet activated click on Activate button to activate
Observer the staus bar as it reads :
Click Update informationButton
Click Distribute Configuration Button
Switch to IDS system and Click Refresh screen which will show this :
